Emma & Stuart :: 30th October 2009

Emma & Stuart hail from the country and were after a no frills wedding where they could have a good party and enjoy time with their friends and family. Emma also wanted to get a shot or two of the harbour bridge.

It was the first time I had the pleasure of working with Gavin Cato from Cato and Pade Wedding Photography. He got some really nice shots and the slideshow at reception was a big hit.

Reception was held at the Watersedge and Ceremony at the historic Garrison Church in The Rocks.

Amber & Andrew :: 5th September 2009

Amber and Andy would have to rank as one of the most excited and happy couples we have shot. Both of them were so obviously over the moon that their day had finally come and that they were able to share it with those close to them.

And for the girls, Amber is a designer at Seduce so she may be a good person to be friends with……(lol).

We were fortunate to get some fantastic weather for the photo shoot on the beach, followed by an action packed reception at MiraMare Gardens.

Sarah & Will :: 17th October 2009 :: Mudgee

On 17th October, we packed up the family and headed out to Mudgee (country NSW) for a weekend away and primarily to film the wedding of Sarah & Will.

I always enjoy shooting weddings out of the Sydney metro area and this was no exception.

The vineyards made a great backdrop to the wedding but it wasn’t until the dancing started at reception that a few guests really let their hair down.

It’s also not often I get to see (and film) the underwear of both the bride and groom in the one day….

Photography coverage was provided by Summit Photography who are always easy and fun to work with.

Had a great chat with the celebrant, Jane Endacott who spent the day before the wedding trying to pull her bull out of her septic tank…..certainly not a problem we experience living in the city. (lol)

This is one of my favourite recaps at the moment.

Enjoy.

Thienhuong & Nhat :: Same Day Edit

Thienhuong & Nhat are living overseas and had to do all their arrangements from London. Not a task I envy. We didn’t have a chance to meet up until the day of the wedding but they were such a laid back, easy going couple.

As with most Asian weddings there were Tea Ceremonies in the morning, with a civil ceremony thrown in between. Not all the guests are able to attend the ceremonies so Thienhuong asked us to put together a same day edit to be shown at the reception. These are not without headaches and a few extra grey hairs but are totally worth it once they are finished.

We also received this great email from Thienhuong shortly after the wedding:

” Thank you very much for being at my wedding and recording it. You were absolutely brilliant!. You were such an important part of the day, yet unobstrusively so, which really reflects your and your team’s professionalism.

The morning part of the day which you added to the video was fantastic- it’s exactly what we wanted. I especially liked the different angles you filmed at- you made it seem that bit more magical!

Houn, who’s wedidng you did can only say good things about you, and I think I’ve joined the club. I look forward to seeing the video, as the day was a bit of a blur.

In years to come, we’ll only remember the wedding from your video, and from what I’ve seen so far, it’s the perfect way to remember it.”

It’s a pleasure working for such couples.

Julie & Cheung :: Pre-Wedding Video

Julie & Cheung booked us just for a pre-wedding video and so we heading off to Cockatoo Island with Yazzen from Yazzen Photography. He has a great sense of humour as well as a great eye for cool pics.

I think Cheung secretly has aspirations to be a model. He was always mucking around in front of the camera.
