O’ My Gosh – One Stop Wedding Shop :: Anna Wang Profile

Encore Media is very pleased to announce our inclusion into the range of services offered by one of the most exciting new wedding shops in Sydney.

O’ My Gosh is run by Anna Wang and was officially opened on 30th August by The Hon. Jo Tripodi MP. It was a spectacular affair with many guests, lots of food & drink, fireworks, bubbles and a fashion show.

O’ My Gosh offers a complete service to all couples planning their wedding. This includes but is not limited to: jewellery, gowns, cakes, flowers, photography, invitations, decorations, cars, videography and more.

O’My Gosh is the brainchild of Anna Wang and we would like to introduce her to you today.

Q1: Tell us about yourself.
I have been in the wedding industry for 4 years and have worked with over 200 brides to fulfill their floral needs and dresses for their wedding.

I started off in wedding flowers and most recently opened O’My Gosh a one stop wedding shop which includes absolutely everything a bride and groom needs.

Expanding myself across wedding gowns, men’s suits and formal dresses for bridesmaids and flowergirls. This has been a very satisfying adventure as i have already helped many brides with their dresses and helped them save money across their whole wedding.

Q2: What are you most proud of accomplishing so far in your life?
Opening up O’My GOSH for the convenience of my brides and grooms.

Q3: When and why did you begin O’ My Gosh?
I opened O’My gosh 31st August 2009. The reason for me to open up this one stop wedding shop is I know the inconvenience for brides to drag their fiances, mothers and bridal party all over town to book things for their wedding. I opened up the shop not just for convenience but also to help everyone package up a deal to suit their budget. A wedding is quite costly and there is no reason that a wedding cannot be packaged up in one shop to help them save some money for their honeymoon.

Q4: What inspires you when you work with couples planning their weddings?

The smile on the brides face, that keeps me going.

Q5: What do you consider the most challenging aspect of planning weddings?

When the bride or groom have a small budget to work with, because i want to give them everything they want for their wedding but they cannot afford it. I try my best to give them more than what anyone else can.

Q6: What is your greatest strength as a planner/co-ordinator?

I work with the bride and groom to complete their needs, I listen to them and I don’t direct them towards offers and packages that simply convenience me.

Q7: Tell us your latest news? (or what have you been up to lately)

I believe I have the best wedding professionals working together with me at O’My Gosh to complete the wedding packages.

I have also been working on new avenues to give more to my brides and grooms than what we already have.

Q9: Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself running a chain of O’My Gosh stores across NSW.

Q10: When you wish to end your career and look back on your life, what thoughts would you like to have?

I would like to have thoughts of my happy brides…

Q11: Why did you choose Encore Media as your video service provider for O’ My Gosh?

I believe that Encore Media works the same way I do in business. Encore Media goes above and beyond expectations. They also did the videography for my best friends wedding and it was fantastic………..
